KA’TEEN is an adventure to the lush jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula, nestled in the bustling heart of Hollywood. Created by Chef Wes Avila and Ten Five Hospitality, the restaurant and Mezcal bar serves up discovery within every dish. The name KA’TEEN means “afresh” in Mayan, perfectly describing chef Avila’s vibrant interpretation of the region’s rich and diverse culinary traditions. Immersed in 5,000 square feet of Aztec-inspired tropical garden space, guests can expand their palettes and broaden their horizons through creative tequila cocktails, bold Latin-American flavors and DJ sets that recall the rhythm of the rainforests.
Desert 5 Spot
Desert 5 Spot is the rooftop bar that brings the free spirit soul of 1970s Palm Springs and the rustic allure of Pioneertown to Hollywood. Inspired by Joshua Tree hideouts, throwback roadside motels, and Cosmic Americana, we serve up our famous margaritas, cold canned beers and Outlaw Tacos. Featuring daily live performances by our in-house band, The Desert 5, weekend DJ’s and old-fashioned jukeboxes playing country hits all night long, we welcome one and all to leave their tensions and pretensions at the door, put on their boots and let the good times roll.

Our lobby bar & café is where the day’s pursuits begin and the night unfolds. Whether you’re fueling up for the morning or unwinding after a day out on the town, we’re serving up great coffee, delicious snacks and delightful drinks all day.
